- It was recently
announced at the ISRI (Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries) Show in
Orlando, Florida, that Briggs Equipment, the largest Case dealer in North
America has signed on as a distributor for SENNEBOGEN green line Material
Handling machines for both North and South Carolina. Initially, according
to Scott McQuiggan, Sales Manger for Briggs Equipment in Charlotte, "We
noticed their advertising in industry publications and talked to a number
of people about them around the same time we were looking to add a new
line of equipment. We are very selective in the lines we represent and
now with SENNEBOGEN, we have three including Case and Hamm."
Scott sees SENNEBOGEN as a niche product for a fast growing, untapped
and certainly under serviced area. "We have succeeded in business
by supplying our customers with a level of after sales and service support
they are not used to getting from anyone else. This is truly what differentiates
us from our competitors."
He also felt that there was a great deal of potential in the Carolinas
for SENNEBOGEN green line machines.
"With the number of yards in our territory and being able to offer
a yard-proven machine, we are looking for growth. We could offer a Case
excavator, but as good a machine as the Case is, it is built for digging,
not lifting."
According to Keith Ahlstrom, National Sales Manager for SENNEBOGEN LLC,
"We know that Briggs Equipment is exactly the type of organization
that we were looking for. And even though they have only been in the Carolinas
for 3.5 years, this is a 50 year old organization with a stellar reputation.
