C&C RECYCLING & DEMOLITION LLC
HITS THE ROAD WITH ITS SENNEBOGEN 821 R-HD IN TOW

PRESS RELEASE

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

LONGS, SC Operating out of its main office in Longs, South Carolina, C&C Recycling & Demolition LLC travels around the countryside from job to job. It’s the type of operation that creates a fair amount of wear and tear on the company’s equipment. To achieve maximum uptime, C&C Recycling chose a SENNEBOGEN 821 R-HD to meet its scrap handling needs. According to John Carson, it is operator friendly and always ready to work.

“Our SENNEBOGEN 821 R-HD follows us around to and from whatever jobsite we might be working at on that day or week,” says John Carson, C&C Recycling’s Jobsite Supervisor, who was speaking from a jobsite in Chattanooga, Tennessee. “One week it may be working at a chemical plant in the deep south, the next week it may loading cut-up barges in Wilmington and the week after that, it may be at a sawmill in North Carolina.”

A fourteen person operation, C&C Recycling & Demolition was founded two years ago by partners, Alan Chapman and Jimmy Crowder. The company specializes in offering mobile scrap handling, demolition and recycling services to customers in the southeastern United States. “We go wherever the work is and having a machine that is always ready to go is very important,” says Carson.

The SENNEBOGEN 821 R-HD has its own dedicated semi and a 53 foot low-boy trailer to haul it from job to job. Fitted with a lifting magnet, the 821 R-HD is primarily used for magging up and loading trucks with scrap metal from jobsites. The scrap metal is then hauled to the closest scrap metal yard for selling.

C&C Recycling purchased its SENNEBOGEN 821 R-HD through Bud Moore, Sales Representative at Briggs Equipment about a year ago. The most significant factor in C&C Recycling’s decision to purchase the 821 R-HD was the need for increased productivity and efficiency. “We took a long, hard look at the labor factor in loading trucks,” says Carson, “and we decided that SENNEBOGEN was the way to go. Because of the type of work we do, the uneven ground we work on and the harsh environments in which we usually work, we ruled out a rubber-tired machine and decided to go with the crawler instead.”

Carson appreciates the durability of his company’s SENNEBOGEN 821 R-HD and the prompt service he receives from the folks at Briggs. The four operators, including Carson, who use the unit really like the increased visibility afforded by is elevating cab. “The elevating cab lets us look right into the trailers of waiting trucks and allows us to load them without tearing them up. The truckers really appreciate it too,” says Carson.

“Our SENNEBOGEN 821 R-HD has proven itself to be a good, reliable machine that meets the travel and jobsite demands we place upon it. I would have no trouble recommending SENNEBOGEN machines to a colleague if asked for a reference.”
