LINCOLN COUNTY, NC – The Lincoln Economic Development Association (LEDA), a private, non-profit corporation charged with facilitating industrial, office, and commercial development in Lincolnton (near Charlotte) and Lincoln County, North Carolina, recently recognized SENNEBOGEN’s plans to have its new 53,000 square foot training, technical support and parts distribution center in Eastern Lincoln County, operational in early 2009. The facility promises to bring twenty-five new jobs to Lincoln County.
“We are excited about SENNEBOGEN’s expansion plans in our region,” says Tom Anderson, Chairman of the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners, who was on hand for the facility’s ground-breaking ceremony on an inclement October day. “I support the company completely and offer my assistance in any way.”

“The Lincoln Economic Development Association’s assistance for this expansion project has been outstanding from the beginning,” says SENNEBOGEN President Lannes. “We have the utmost confidence in LEDA and its ability to support our growth now and in the future.”
Exciting times for SENNEBOGEN
“These are exciting times for SENNEBOGEN,” according to Lannes. “Since we entered the North American market in 2000, the company has gone from a virtually unknown to a market leader, thanks in large part to our continuing investment in our distributor network, personnel and parts accessibility – and what we like to call Leading Through Innovation.”
Lannes says that 2008 has been a particularly good year for SENNEBOGEN. “We have been able to recruit outstanding regional sales managers to our SENNEBOGEN team. Our list of outstanding distributors has continued to grow and we delivered the first SENNEBOGEN 880 material handlers, the largest unit produced by the company, to North American customers this year. With the opening of the new facility in Lincoln County, we expect that our growth and expansion will continue. We look forward to sharing our success with the Lincoln Economic Development Association and residents of East Lincoln County.”
