“We’re always searching for new opportunities to benefit our customer base, so adding the SENNEBOGEN line to our inventory just made good business sense,” says Scott Cummins, President of Scott Equipment Company. “We knew that the company was a leader in the production of purpose-built material handlers. The SENNEBOGEN line is a perfect complement to our other primary lines – Volvo and CASE, especially for our scrap handling customers.” Founded in 1939 by Tom Scott, Scott Equipment has multiple locations in the states it serves. The company specializes in serving the petro-chemical and construction sectors of the market, in addition to meeting the needs of its industrial, agriculture, forestry and irrigation customers. Largely focused around building and maintaining relationships and partnerships with its customers, the company is driven by a simple motto: “People Are Important.” Scott Equipment’s commitment to providing exemplary customer service and parts is something company staff takes very seriously, as are history, honesty and loyalty. In fact, this commitment is perfectly in line with the SENNEBOGEN company philosophy. “Like Scott Equipment, we too believe that building and maintaining relationships with our dealers and customers is an important priority,” says Constantino Lannes. “And our commitment to after-sale customer service and parts is part of what attracts dealers/distributors like Scott Equipment.” According to Cummins, “We are well aware that the future success and growth of our company depends upon the quality of care we provide to each customer now before and after the sale. Our SENNEBOGEN customers can count on us to help keep their equipment running smoothly and efficiently. We want them to keep coming back to us for all their material handling needs. Tom Skodack, our SENNEBOGEN Regional Sales Manager, has been great to work with in getting the product line and parts on our shelves.” Initially, Scott Equipment will target prospective SENNEBOGEN customers in the port and scrap handling markets. One of Scott Equipment’s first SENNEBOGEN customers was St. John Enterprises who recently purchased a SENNEBOGEN 850 M for handling portside materials at their docks in Garyville, Louisiana. Potential applications in other sectors like forestry, waste and recycling, and demolition will also be pursued. According to Cummins, a number of SENNEBOGEN machines are presently on order. “We welcome Scott Cummins and the rest of the staff at Scott Equipment to the SENNEBOGEN team,” says Constantino Lannes, President of SENNEBOGEN America. “Like them, the SENNEBOGEN company is built around family and building and maintaining relationships and partnerships with its dealers and customers. We anticipate a long and rewarding relationship with Scott Equipment.” About SENNEBOGEN |
