| SOUTHFIELD, MI – Constantino Lannes, President of SENNEBOGEN America, is pleased to announce that Wolverine Tractor and Equipment Company, Michigan’s oldest equipment dealer and a trusted name since 1943, has become the distributor of SENNEBOGEN purpose-built material handlers for all of the lower peninsula of Michigan. “We were initially drawn to SENNEBOGEN by the machines’ quality, performance and specifications. They really outperform the competition,” says Wolverine principal Dave Sinay. “Now that we are a distributor, I can say without hesitation that SENNEBOGEN machines are among the most reliable we have ever carried. It’s amazing how few warranty calls are required in such a harsh environment as a scrap yard.” Sinay recalls seeing the SENNEBOGEN machines at a convention in early 2000. He remembers how impressed he and his customers were with the machines, and how quickly SENNEBOGEN made inroads into the material handling market. “We were hearing more and more good things about SENNEBOGEN equipment from our customers, so we sought out SENNEBOGEN to represent them in our area,” says Sinay. Since taking on the SENNEBOGEN line in September 2007, Wolverine has sold more than ten machines to very satisfied customers in the scrap metal industry. Sinay says that Wolverine is currently exploring other applications for their SENNEBOGEN machines. “We know that SENNEBOGEN is a proven machine in port applications, so we’re reaching out to those customers. Hardwood forestry is another important Michigan market where we expect to make inroads. And our scrap recycling customers are very interested in the SENNEBOGEN 305 Multihandler,” says Sinay. “We know that the secret to our ongoing success is to diversify.” Dave Sinay has nothing but praise for the product support and training Wolverine has received from the SENNEBOGEN team. “I have met Erich Sennebogen on a number of occasions, as have a number of our customers,” says Sinay. “Erich is really a hands-on owner who is involved in all aspects of the company’s operations. Constantino Lannes and Regional Sales Manager Tom Skodack have also been very supportive, and I have nothing but the highest respect for both men. Their combined knowledge of the product and the industry is incredible!” All of Wolverine’s service staff have attended SENNEBOGEN training sessions that the company brought to their Michigan locations. Company recommendations for stocking spare parts for their early sales of the line were something else Sinay found very helpful and very accurate. “We’ve been well prepared to meet our customers’ needs after the sale. Thus far, however, our needs have been mostly filters!” says Sinay. “Wolverine Tractor and Equipment is committed to helping our customers choose the best equipment for their jobs and keeping that equipment productive. That commitment has taken a giant leap forward with our acquisition of the SENNEBOGEN line,” says Sinay. “We are proud to part of the SENNEBOGEN team.” About SENNEBOGEN SENNEBOGEN has been a leading name in the global material handling industry for more than 50 years.
