CHARLOTTE, NC -
Constantino Lannes, President of Sennebogen North America recently announced
the appointment of Brandeis Machinery & Supply Company as the distributor
for Kentucky, Indiana and southern Ohio for the Sennebogen green line
product offering with models starting from 44,000 lbs up to 240,000 lbs.
"We are very pleased to have been welcomed in to the lineup of products
sold and serviced by Brandeis Machinery & Supply Company. To be represented
by and organization of this calibre is truly an honor. The Brandeis policy
is to represent the ‘best of the best’ when it comes to innovation,
quality, productivity and operational efficiency. Therefore, to be included
in this group means a lot to us as an organization," said Lannes.
According to Larry Shuck, Senior Vice President and General Manager of
Cranes and Material Handling Products for Brandeis Machinery & Supply,
Brandeis is continually looking at new business opportunities. "Brandeis
Machinery & Supply Company has been in business since 1908. Traditionally
we have been perceived as a ‘dirt house’, but we have been
studying the scrap and material handling industries. We represent an industry
leader of hydraulic and lattice boom cranes and saw a need to expand this
product mix to address the production requirements of this customer base.
We wanted an organization that shared our commitment to customer satisfaction
and was knowledgeable about the scrap and material handling industries.
Our customers expect us to provide quality products and back them up with
parts and service support after the sale. These attributes will assure
our customers of high machine availability and consistent production,"
continued Shuck. He further indicated that the Sennebogen green line was
complementary to their existing line of equipment and would allow them
to meet more people in more industries. "With the Ohio River going
right through the middle of our markets, there is a lot of river activity
in terms of barge loading and unloading. We saw an opportunity to bring
a ‘built for purpose’ machine to this marketplace," said
Shuck.
"We looked at a number of products and found that only a few machines
were purpose built for the scrap and material handling industries.
In our opinion, we have selected the best. Sennebogen has built machines
for over fifty years and understands the working conditions these machines
will face. They have made a commitment to supporting the machines after
the sale with parts and technical support. Their people will provide Brandeis
the assistance we will need to meet the needs of our customers."
Brandeis Machinery & Supply Company has an 835 M C Series machine
in inventory and it’s ready to go. Furthermore, they have made a
commitment to carry a complete inventory of spare parts to be able to
provide their customers with their traditional high level of customer
service. "We have all had a chance to get up to speed on these products
from a sales and service standpoint and each one of us quickly saw why
the SENNEBOGEN machine has been gaining popularity in North America. It
has been designed with thoughtfulness. Whether it is operator comfort,
ease of maintenance or the fact that is was built to lift material, this
product will be ideal for our clients in these industries," said
Shuck.
SENNEBOGEN has been a leading name in the global material handling industry
for more than 50 years. Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, SENNEBOGEN
North America offers a complete line of purpose-built machines to suit virtually
any heavy lift or "pick & carry" application. A growing
network of distributors supports SENNEBOGEN sales and service across North
America, ensuring the highest standard of professional machine support
and parts availability.
