Using the SENNEBOGEN 735 M-HD Holzwerke Weinzierl handles up to 3,500 fm a day in two shifts.

Since Hans Weinzierl founded the company in 1935 the Vilshofen-based Holzwerk Weinzierl has grown to be one of the most efficient coniferous wood works in Europe.

This is a result of continuous investing in qualified personnel and state-of-the-art technology. At the 15 hectare location 75 employees in production and administration efficiently work on achieving the greatest benefit for their customers, with the use of state-of-the-art technology. The family-run business is now managed by Johann Weinzierl and Johann Weinzierl Jr. Continuous self-monitoring and ongoing employee trainings ensure that the company's quality remains on the same high level.

The annual amount of handled roundwood is currently 500,000 fm. This is equivalent to a daily sawn timber output of over 1,400 m³. Since 2007 Weinzierl in Vilshofen has exclusively been using a SENNEBOGEN 735 M-HD for roundwood handling. With its 3 m² wood grab the machine takes up roundwood at the storage area and submits it to the sawmill. In 2-shift operations the 735 M-HD is used 15 hours a day. "The 735 is an absolute key machine on our site. Therefore it was very important to us that we have a robust and reliable machine. So far we have been very happy with the SENNEBOGEN machine. Also the moderate fuel consumption despite this extreme use was a positive surprise", says Johann Weinzierl Jr.

The 735 M-HD has been designed as an extremely strong driving and transport machine with an exceptionally high load capacity. "We expose the machine to extreme loads, as our site has curvy and steep terrain. But the SENNEBOGEN 735 masters this job sensationally", driver Alois Schmalhofer describes his experience with the machine. The strong drive system takes the performance right onto the road without any switching and ensures convincing driving characteristics and acceleration. With the 735 Holzwerke Weinzierl can easily handle up to 3,500 fm in the two shifts. The rear-positioned very robust boom pivot enables optimum weight distribution in the travel position as well as for pick-and-carry operations. "Due to the extra heavy-duty swing drive I can do fast and controlled swings even with 10 fm in the grab", says Alois Schmalhofer.
Absolute stability is guaranteed by the wide-gauge axles, the long wheelbase and large support base. Impact protection for the undercarriage, the lifting cylinders and the complete upper structure ensures top safety in use. The modern, clear comfort cabin provides an excellent all-round view, also to the right. For the operator handling and machine handling are decisive. "I have driven the 735 from the beginning and got into it right away. I feel very comfortable in the cabin", says Alois Schmalhofer.

Another important aspect is the service-friendliness of the machines. The longitudinal installation of the powerful 186 kW engine ensures excellent accessibility to all service and maintenance points. That way every service can be done faster and more easily and safely. Plant Manager Klaus Urmann agrees: "After approx. 4,300 operating hours I can say that the SENNEBOGEN 735 is a very reliable machine with easy-to-understand technology."
