TYLER EQUIPMENT IS BACK IN SCRAP
PRESS RELEASE
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

CHARLOTTE, NC - Tyler Equipment Corporation, a family owned and operated business since 1922 recently joined SENNEBOGEN as a distributor for the SENNEBOGEN green line. They will be servicing their customers in Connecticut and Western Massachusetts.

"We used to be involved with the scrap industry with Akerman machines," said Brooke Tyler, Account Coordinator for Excavators & Scrap Handlers. "However, with the end of the line, our involvement in new equipment of this type for this industry ended." According to Constantino Lannes, President of SENNEBOGEN North America, "We are very pleased that Tyler has joined forces with us. Even though they did not have a scrap machine in their line up, they continued to provide first rate after sales service support to all of their Akerman clients. That is typical of all or our distributors – Customers come first."

Both the Tyler Equipment Corporation and SENNEBOGEN GmbH are family owned companies. As well, in both organizations, family members are involved on a day-to-day basis. This similarity is not lost on Brooke Tyler. "When we talked to the people at SENNEBOGEN, we were impressed with a number of things. Most importantly, we shared business beliefs and principles. This was key, because without that, there would be no reason to become part of a team that did not reflect your corporate goals and objectives "

Brooke also pointed out that when they looked at the machine itself, they realized that a great deal of engineering and thought had gone into the green line in order to make it as simple, yet efficient as it is. "Our customers are looking for equipment to simplify their lives, not make them more complicated. With SENNEBOGEN, that is what happens. "

Lannes confirmed this. He explained that, "SENNEBOGEN green line machines don’t have electronic controls for the main operation of the equipment.

That is mostly the case with converted excavators. The SENNEBOGEN control system is all hydraulic and we can find a problem in seconds with a few quick measurements and not a laptop with a fancy hook up." Continued Lannes, "From our perspective, we wanted a strong dealer in this region who has an excellent rapport with their customers. Tyler Equipment Corporation meets all those objectives and then some."

"We have ordered our first machine," said Brooke, "and we have begun the process of focusing on our friends in the scrap business. We have worked hard to maintain their trust and respect and we would only add those machines to our product line that added value to our customers’ operations. To date, there have been many positive reports from the field. Our customers are in touch with the industry and they know what they want…productivity and profitability. We believe that SENNEBOGEN can do just that."

Finally, according to Mr. Lannes, Tyler Equipment has received both parts and service training so that the minute their first machine arrives, they will be able to get started immediately.

SENNEBOGEN has been a leading name in the global material handling industry for more than 50 years.
